YASME FOUNDATION - PREMIOS A LA EXCELENCIA 2010 - FELICITACIONES A TODOS

s Premios a la Excelencia YASME se otorgan  Loa aquellas personas que a través de su propio servicio, creatividad, esfuerzo y dedicación han hecho una contribución significativa a la causa de la Radioafición. Es el reconocimiento de logros en técnicas, operaciones o de organización ya que los tres son necesarios para que la radioafición pueda crecer y prosperar. Con los Premios a la Excelencia 2010, YASME reconoce a las siguientes personas con el fin de honrarlas e inspirar a otros en nombre de la Radioafición, ahora y en el futuro.
·        Ramón Santoyo V, XE1KK que es reconocido por su trabajo en la promoción de la radioafición en México y América Central y su servicio a la comunidad internacional  como Secretario de IARU Región 2. Él es un importante promotor de concursos y del World Radiosport Team Championship. Voces como la de Ramón ayudar a la comunidad de radioaficionados a trabajar juntos y al fortalecimiento de nuestra posición y reputación como miembros importantes de la comunidad inalámbrica.
·        Makoto (Mako) Mori, JE3HHT que merece mucho crédito por la popularización de RTTY al escribir el módem en software MMTTY y ponerlo a disposición para su integración en los log electrónicos .MMTTY es un gran producto y Mako ha mostrado su invalorable espíritu de radioaficionado con grandes repercusiones.
·        Bruce Horn, WA7BNM que continua generando aplicaciones web innovadoras y útiles, incluyendo una actualización completa de su excelente página web Contest Calendar. Su sitio 3830 para la publicación y recopilación de puntuación así como la presentación de logs en el formato Cabrillo son herramientas han cambiado la naturaleza de los deportes en radio.
·        Rick Meuthing, KN6KB por el desarrollo de WINMOR nueva tarjeta de sonido digital en software de amplio uso en el mundo del sistema Winlink 2000. Muchos intentos en el pasado de aproximación a PACTOR III protocolo y hardware propietario, habían fallado antes de WINMOR, lo que demuestra la dificultad del problema.
·        Mikael Styrefors, SM2O que ha desarrollado la interfaz de control remoto para radios. La capacidad de conectar los radios y los operadores de una forma transparente y confiable a través de Internet es una tecnológica clave en para controlar distancia estaciones HF de alto nivel - en el aire - algo más común cada día.
·        Alex Shovkoplyas, VE3NEA por el desarrollo de DX Atlas, Morse runner, HAM-PAC, CW Skimmer, Rocky y otros software innovadores. Los productos de Alex están teniendo un impacto notable en el entorno competitivo de HF. Poner este software a disposición de la comunidad de aficionados a bajo o ningún costo muestra el espíritu de un excelente radioaficionado.
·        Pepe Ardid, EA5KB quien hace posible que muchos DXers en América Latina, en algunos, abrumados por deficientes servicios de correos y  QSL Bureaus, puedan confirmar los contactos con tarjetas QSL únicas y atractivas. Pepe aporta innumerables horas de servicio en apoyo de sus compañeros aficionados para que puedan seguir participando en una de las tradiciones más preciadas entre la mayoría de los radio aficionados.

The YASME Excellence Awards are given to individuals who through their own service, creativity, effort and dedication have made a significant contribution to the cause of Amateur Radio. The contribution may be in recognition of technical, operating, or organizational achievement as all three are necessary for amateur radio to grow and prosper. With the 2010 Excellence Awards, YASME recognizes the following individuals in order to recognize them and inspire others on behalf of Amateur Radio now and in the future.
  • Ramón Santoyo V, XE1KK who is recognized for his work in advancing ham radio in Mexico and Central America and his service to the international radio community as IARU Region 2 Secretary. He is a strong proponent of radiosport and the World Radiosport Team Championships. Voices like Ramón's help the amateur community work together worldwide, strengthening our position and reputation as important members of the wireless community.
  • Makoto (Mako) Mori, JE3HHT who deserves much credit for popularizing RTTY by writing the MMTTY software modem and making it available for integration into logging software. MMTTY is a great product and Mako has exhibited great ham spirit with a huge effect.
  • Bruce Horn, WA7BNM who continues to generate useful and innovative web applications including a complete upgrade of his excellent contest calendar web site. His 3830 score reporting and compilation service and Cabrillo log submission tools have changed the nature of radiosport.
  • Rick Meuthing, KN6KB for developing the new WINMOR sound-card digital mode software now gaining wide use in the worldwide Winlink 2000 system. Many attempts at approaching the performance of the proprietary PACTOR III protocol and hardware failed before WINMOR, attesting to the difficulty of the problem.
  • Mikael Styrefors, SM2O who has developed the Remote Radio Control interface. The ability to connect radios and operators transparently and robustly over the Internet is a key technological element of putting top-grade remote HF stations on the air - something more common every day.
  • Alex Shovkoplyas, VE3NEA for developing DX Atlas, Morse Runner, HAM-CAP, CW Skimmer, Rocky and other innovative software. Alex's products are making a remarkable impact on the competitive HF operating environment. Making this software available to the amateur community at little or no cost demonstrates excellent ham spirit.
  • Pepe Ardid, EA5KB who makes it possible for many Latin American DXers, who are in many cases saddled with deficient postal services and QSL Bureaus, to confirm contacts with attractive and unique QSL cards. Pepe contributes countless hours of service in support of his fellow amateurs so they can continue to participate in one of amateur radio's most cherished traditions.
